1963 Topps Baseball Near Complete Set (570/576) Mantle Psa 6 Rose Rc Sharp Exmt

  
VERY NICE MID TO HIGHER GRADE 1963 TOPPS NEAR COMPLETE BASEBALL SET (570/576), WHICH MANTLES PSA 6, NICE ROSE RC, CLEMENTE, AARON, MAYS, MARIS, MUSIAL, ETC AMONG OTHERS. TOUGH TO FIND IN NICE SHAPE. Overall set condition is at least a SOLID EXMT in my opinion, with TONS of crisp NM+ examples. Missing #210, 233, 294, 299, 353, 553. Condition varies throughout from mostly VGEX to NRMT/MT. I would say about 60% are virtually pack fresh, crisp cards with sharp corners, minor centering issues and perhaps one small issue, with the remainder VGEX to EX cards with the occasional VG. Semi-high and high numbers follow suit for the most part, with TONS OF CRISP, SHARP CARDS. Overall a good assortment and VERY NICE HIGH GRADE. Stars slightly lower grade overall, but a good assortment throughout.

Major starts grade as follows. Yaztrzemski VG+ (corner wear only, no creases).

Maris EX (corner wear only). Mantle Bomber's Best VGEX (light surface wrinkle on back, corner wear).

Mantle #200 PSA 6 EXMT (could easily have been a 6.5, possibly a 7). Aaron EX+/EXMT (off center, corner wear, light print defects). Robinson F/G (appears much nicer but various creases). Gibson VGEX (corner wear with wrinkling on bottom right, left edge wear, tiny stain on back). Brock EX (off center, corner wear only, light stain on back). Koufax/Drysdale/Podres VG+/VGEX (off center, corner wear, surface crease). Musial VGEX (faint surface wrinkle, corner wear). Berra EX/EX+ (corner wear only). Mays appears EX (crisp corners, some roughness by top right and bottom left with spotting). Robinson NRMT (off center, minor wax residue on front, crisp card). Banks EXMT/EXMT+ (crisp card, minor corner wear only). Ford appears EX/EX+ (minor corner wear, tiny pen marks). Mets TC VGEX (appears nicer, two corner wrinkles). Rose RC VGEX/VGEX+ (corner wear, surface scratching, NO creases). Clemente EX (off center, dinged upper right corner, minor surface scratches, no creases). Killebrew EXMT (crisp card with minor corner wear). Staub RC VGEX+/EX (dinged corners, no creases). Hard to find out there in higher grade without paying several thousand. Priced fairly for a collector to enjoy, or break it apart, get cards graded and use it as an investment. Perfect as a gift for friends or family.
